Modular Buildings

EstNor modular buildings are an innovative, flexible approach and the best possible construction solutions.

The factory-made modules are suitable for private houses, cottages, townhouses, apartment buildings, and public buildings. Modules can be joined together, creating greater space reductions. More than 90% of the work is done in a weatherproof and controlled environment in the factory. Fast delivery and good price. Quick installation on the construction site.

EstNor modular houses are produced in a factory in a weatherproof and controlled environment. The modules consist of floor, wall, and roof elements that are assembled together in the factory. The modules are finished inside and out, and the roofing is installed. All opening fillings (windows and doors) have been installed and finished inside and out (panels, moldings, water stains). The factory also carries out all special work (electrical, pipe, ventilation, and heating work). If necessary, sanitary equipment and furniture are installed in the modules.

EstNor modular building
The EstNor modular building is an innovative and modern solution in construction, offering a quick and flexible solution for various construction projects. Modules are parts of a factory-produced and almost completely finished and furnished building, from which a finished building is assembled quickly on the construction site.

Modular buildings are manufactured in a factory under controlled conditions, where a high-quality construction process is guaranteed. This means that the modules are durable and meet all established standards. In addition, modular buildings are a faster solution because they are manufactured in parallel with the construction site preparations. This means that the construction project will be completed faster. This is especially important for time-critical projects where speed is of the essence.

Modular buildings are flexible, allowing their size, shape, and layout to change according to a specific project. This means that modular buildings can be used for a variety of purposes, from office buildings and schools to housing and hotels. Connecting the modules makes it possible to create larger buildings that meet the needs of customers.

Modular buildings are environmentally friendly because buildings made in factory modules use renewable materials and are well insulated, which helps reduce energy consumption. In addition, there is less waste in the construction of modular buildings, and the impact of the construction site on the environment is minimal.

Modular buildings offer greater quality and integrity of the finished project. Since the modules are manufactured in a controlled factory, a high-quality construction process is ensured, and the modules meet all established standards. This ensures modular buildings’ durability and strength are higher than conventional construction.

EstNor contributes to the 369 Pattern Buildings solution – an open-source industrial building system for mass-customizable wooden buildings.

The construction process of modular houses is quick and efficient. The construction of modular houses in the factory takes place in parallel with the preparations of the construction site, which means that the construction project is completed much faster than in traditional construction.

  • Advance planning: Reaching an agreement between the builder and the client and determining the general conditions and requirements of the project.

  • Engineering: Creation of detailed drawings, plans and technical specifications of the modular building, including detailed descriptions of construction materials, finishes and furnishings.

  • Factory production: Production of modules in the factory according to the architectural and construction project. The modules are manufactured in parallel with the construction site preparations. The interior and exterior finishing of the modular building (painting, installation of floor coverings, finishing of walls and installation of windows and doors) is carried out in the factory. The modular building is furnished in the factory according to the construction project in accordance with the customer’s expectations and prior agreement, including the installation of furniture, lighting, kitchen appliances, sanitary equipment and other furnishings.

  • Transportation: Transporting the modules to the construction site.

  • Montage: Assembling the modules on the construction site according to the construction project. Connecting modules and installing electrical and plumbing systems.

  • Final finishing: Final inspection of the modular building, elimination of defects if necessary, and finishing and cleaning.

  • Handing over: Handing over the modular building to the customer. Upon handover of the modular building, a certificate of acceptance is drawn up and signed, which confirms that the modular building meets all the agreed conditions and requirements and is ready for use.
